I just finished with the third draft. Writing is like playing chess in your head. It's tiring.

When I see the poster, the movie looks like this.

Erik: The mule is my only friend here
he agrees with what I say

He carries all my equipment
For just a dime a day

I don’t think he eats much
he just chomps on the hay

He doesn’t help make the pictures
He has no creative intuition

He doesn’t know about exposures
Or filters or what’s in the damn case

He doesn’t have many stories
Just the ones that I’ve told him

Enough! About that mule
He doesn’t even have a name

He does seem, sometimes though
To have a personality id say

we can set and watch the sun
Go up and then down for hours

I expose a plate and pack him tall and sturdy
And we go home to the most lovely

I will play her the song that
the mule and I made
